Silvio B Pistone, 94, of Elk Grove Village passed away early Saturday morning. Affectionately known as Papa, he was born October 13, 1921 in Chicago to parents Joseph and Ermina Pistone. He was the beloved husband of the late Marie Pistone, nee Milano for 57 years; the loving father of Diann Messina, Susan Marmitt, Jeff ( Maureen) Pistone. Proud Grandfather of Carie, Erik (Catherine), Kimberly, Philip, Nicole (William), Ryan, and Anna. Devoted Great Grandfather of Marisa, Nico, Jacob, Anthony, Zoe, Niomi, Allison, Amanda, Nia, and Connor. Dearest brother of the late Inez Tracy. Fond brother in law of Theresa Walker.
Visitation Tuesday from 3-8 PM at Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central (at Northwest Highway) Mt. Prospect. Visitation will continue Wednesday 9:15 AM from the Funeral Home for Mass 10 AM at Queen of the Rosary Church, 750 Elk Grove Blvd, Elk Grove, IL 60007. Cremation will follow Mass.
